About
360 Access Hub is a community food and resource hub at 360 W Liberty St in Oakland, where Garrett County residents can get groceries from a choice-first pantry, pick up free meal boxes at community distributions and get connected to local health and social services. It is a partnership of Garrett County Community Action, the Garrett County Health Department and Maryland Physicians Care, and it opened with a ribbon cutting in October 2025.
Food and Services at the Hub
The hub's motto is "Nourishing Community, One Plate at a Time," and its idea is that everyone should be able to eat well, with dignity. In a choice-first pantry you choose the foods that suit your household rather than receiving a fixed bag. Partner programs run through the hub include:
- Free monthly community food distributions, with meal boxes and food vouchers from the Health Department and Healthy Together by AHEC West
- Sponsored meal boxes with locally grown food
- Emergency food from Garrett County Community Action, the county's designated emergency food agency
- A Maryland Physicians Care social care team for its members
- Medical and behavioral health referrals through the Health Department's BASE program, funded by CareFirst
How to Get Help
You can fill out the "Find Help" form on the hub's website, then walk in on posted public service dates and finish any paperwork on site. Accommodations and translation help are available. If you have no food and no way to get any today, call Community Action's service coordination line.
Donating and Volunteering
Money can be given to Garrett County Community Action, and the hub accepts food at its scheduled monthly food drives. Volunteers watch a short training video, join the hub's group on MyGarrettCounty.com and fill out a registration form.
Check the website for the next distribution date before you go.
