Aaron's

Aaron's is the Oakland store of the national lease-to-own retailer, located in Starlite Plaza at 3000 Starlite Plz in Oakland. It's an option if you want furniture, appliances or electronics for your home without paying the full price up front.

What You'll Find

The store leases furniture, mattresses, appliances, TVs and electronics, and laptops and computers. Brands listed on the store page include Ashley, Lane, Beautyrest, GE, Samsung, Hisense, HP and ASUS. Some pre-leased merchandise is available in the store only, so it's worth stopping in rather than browsing online alone.

How Leasing Works

Aaron's agreements are lease-to-own with regular renewal payments. Ownership is optional: you own the item once you finish the required payments or take an early purchase option. You can apply in the store or online, and Aaron's notes that approval is not guaranteed. The store schedules delivery of leased items, and setup excludes things like gas or water hookups and TV mounting.

About the Chain

Aaron's was founded in Atlanta in 1955 as Aaron Rents and today operates both company-run and franchised stores.
