The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce is the chamber of commerce for Allegany County, Maryland, with its office at the Bell Tower Building in downtown Cumberland. The chamber helps with questions about membership, chamber programs, committees, events and business connections across Allegany County.
Its calendar includes Chamber After Hours networking events, each hosted by a different member business at a different location around the region, along with an annual Crab Feast, the Like A Woman event that shares the stories of local women, a Recognition Reception and an annual Chamber Golf Tournament. The Leadership Allegany program and its alumni scholarship support future leaders in the county.
The chamber is led by a volunteer executive committee and board of directors drawn from local businesses and organizations, with a small staff headed by a president and CEO.
