American Eagle Lodge is an 8-bedroom, 7-full-bath and 2-half-bath lakefront lodge in a quiet cove on the northeast side of Deep Creek Lake that sleeps 26, managed by Railey Vacations. It's at 70 John Young Parkway, McHenry, MD 21541, just off Deep Creek Drive, and with six suites and its own indoor pool it's built for large family reunions and multi-family trips.
Inside the House
The main level has the kitchen, dining area, sitting area and great room, plus a mud room with laundry, a powder room and a king suite with a separate jetted tub. The kitchen is doubled up for big groups, with two full-size fridges, two ovens, two stoves and two dishwashers. Upstairs, a sitting area with two queen sleeper sofas leads to three more suites.
The lower level is where everyone ends up. It has a den and game area with a wet bar, a pool table, foosball and a poker table, a private indoor sauna, and access to the private 13 by 24 foot indoor pool. Two more king suites, a king bedroom and a queen bedroom share this level, along with a powder room.
