Aquatic Center

Aquatic Center is a rentals, sales and service shop at 634 Deep Creek Dr in McHenry, on Deep Creek Lake. You can rent a pontoon, sport boat, kayak or paddleboard here for time on the lake, and the same shop sells and services personal watercraft, boats, ATVs, UTVs and motorcycles.

Boats and Paddlesports to Rent

The rental fleet centers on two boats: the Yamaha G3 Suncatcher pontoon, a stable choice for a family or a group of friends, and the Yamaha SX190 sport boat for a faster day out. You can add waterskis, children's waterskis, tubes, wakeboards and kneeboards to a boat rental. For a quieter morning, single kayaks, double kayaks and paddleboards launch right from the shop, and single and double kayaks can be delivered to Deep Creek Lake houses on longer rentals.

Sales and Service

Aquatic Center has been an authorized dealer since 1993 and currently lists BRP Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, G3 pontoons and Karavan trailers. Its mechanics hold certifications that include Yamaha 5 Star, BRP Sea-Doo Master Technician and Kawasaki, plus training from schools such as the Motorcycle & Marine Mechanic Institute and WyoTech. In the busy summer months the service department gives priority to machines it sold, and boats or watercraft coming from other lakes should be washed before they come in.

Before You Go

Reservations are made online and are taken for one day or longer. Renters must be 18 or older, everyone who will drive or ride watches a training video and signs a release at the shop, and a credit card (not a debit card) is needed for the damage deposit. Fuel is not included, so plan to return the boat full. Well-behaved dogs are welcome aboard on a leash, and since parking is limited, carpooling helps.

Book ahead for summer weekends and bring your ID so check-in goes smoothly.
