About
Bear Creek Lodge is a 5-bedroom, 4-bath lakefront home at 410 South Shore Dr, Swanton, MD 21561 that sleeps 14, managed by Railey Vacations. It sits in the Harvey's Peninsula community with a rustic cabin feel, a private dock slip and a full game room, which makes it a good fit for larger families who want time on the water and plenty to do indoors.
Inside the House
Bedrooms are split across two levels. Upstairs there's a king suite with an attached bath (shower plus a separate tub), a second king room and a queen room sharing a Jack and Jill bath. The main level has a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a bonus room with a twin bed and a twin-over-queen bunk, plus two more full baths. Two twin rollaways are available.
The game room is the draw on rainy days: a pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, a game table and arcade games. A wood-burning fireplace, five smart TVs with surround sound, Wi-Fi and a washer and dryer round out the house. A/C is partial, with window units in the suite and the main-level king bedroom.
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
The home has private lake access and its own dock slip for up to two motorized vessels; Railey guarantees docks only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. A steep path leads down to the water. Back up top there's a hot tub, a wood-burning fire pit, a gas grill, outdoor dining and a seasonal outdoor shower.
