Bill's Marine Service – North

Bill's Marine Service – North is the McHenry location of Bill's Marine Service at 1867 Deep Creek Dr, on the north end of Deep Creek Lake. It combines a rental dock and gas dock with a service department, so boaters staying around McHenry can rent a boat, fuel up or get help with repairs without heading down Garrett Highway to Oakland.

Rentals at the North Dock

Two kinds of boats go out from this location:

• 22-foot Bennington tritoon pontoons with 75 hp motors, carrying up to 12 passengers, with a rear boarding ladder, tow bar, Bimini top for shade and an anchor for stopping in a quiet cove. These pontoons are pet-friendly.
• 16-foot fishing boats with 40 hp Honda motors for up to 3 people, with running lights, a live well, pedestal seats and an anchor, suited to early-morning and evening fishing.

Renters must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license, and the driver needs a boater's license. If you don't have one, Bill's can issue a free temporary license at pickup (up to two per boat), or you can take the online course before you arrive. Boats leave with a full tank and are refilled on return.

Service on the North End

The North location runs one of Bill's service departments. Company-wide, Bill's has factory-trained technicians on duty year-round, more than 8,200 square feet of service space, and the shops handle lower-unit repair and fiberglass repair and paint, working on boats, ATVs and snowmobiles.
