Bill's Marine Service is a Deep Creek Lake boat dealer with its main showroom at 20721 Garrett Hwy in Oakland. It sells, services, stores and rents boats, so it's a single stop whether you're buying a boat, keeping one running, or just want a pontoon for a few days on the lake.

Boat Sales and Service

The showroom carries new and pre-owned boats from brands including Bennington, Cobalt, Moomba and Nautique, with more than 4,000 square feet of indoor showroom space. The service side handles motor repair, lower-unit repair, and fiberglass repair and paint, with factory-trained technicians on duty year-round and more than 8,200 square feet of service space. Off-lake storage is available too, and Bill's sales and service reach boaters on the Youghiogheny Reservoir, Cheat Lake, Tygart Lake and Bloomington Lake as well as Deep Creek.

Pontoon Rentals on Garrett Highway

This showroom handles Bill's main Garrett Highway rentals, with boats picked up at 20420 Garrett Hwy, where Bill's also runs a gas dock. The fleet here is 22-foot Bennington tritoon pontoons with 90 or 115 hp motors, carrying up to 12 passengers, each with a rear boarding ladder, tow bar, Bimini top and anchor for swimming stops, and pets are welcome aboard. Renters must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license, and drivers need a boater's license; Bill's issues temporary licenses at pickup at no charge. Boats go out with a full tank and are refilled on return, Coast Guard safety equipment is included, and tubes and overnight docking can be added. The rental boats have no lights, so they stay off the water after dark, and the rental season wraps up in late September.

Bill's Marine Service – North serves the McHenry end of the lake from Deep Creek Drive, and Bill's Marine Service – Luxury Rental Center on Garrett Highway is where larger rental boats are collected. Bill's has been on Deep Creek Lake for 60 years, according to its Garrett County Chamber listing.
