Black Hawk Coffee Company

Black Hawk Coffee Company is a locally owned coffee shop at 225 East Oak Street in downtown Oakland, serving lattes, cold brew and frozen coffee drinks along with breakfast sandwiches, bagels, wraps and pastries. It shares the site with a fuel station, so you can fill the tank and pick up a coffee in one stop, and the drive-thru makes it easy to grab something on the way through town.

Drinks and Food

The drink list mixes familiar espresso favorites with rotating seasonal and creative lattes, and the shop regularly shares its latest coffee creations. There's cold brew and frozen coffee for warmer days, plus decaf and non-dairy options. On the food side you'll find breakfast sandwiches, bagels, wraps, salads, muffins, pastries and toast creations, so it works for a full breakfast as well as a quick coffee.

A Cozy Stop in Town

The team turned what was once a Subway and gas-station convenience store into a cozy coffee shop with a fireplace and windows to watch the street from, so it's a good spot to sit for a while as well as to grab and go. The Deep Creek Times announced the opening at the Stuck Fleet Fueling location on East Oak Street.

Sister Café at the Lake

Black Hawk later expanded to the lake with Black Hawk Coffee + Kitchen at 1550 Deep Creek Drive in McHenry, which adds indoor seating and a deck overlooking Deep Creek Lake. Both shops have taken part in the For the Love of Deep Creek coffee crawl.
