Blue Ridge Risk Partners is an independent insurance agency with access to more than 150 insurance carriers, and offices across six states. Its Maryland offices include Hagerstown and Cumberland, the latter on North Centre Street. Other Western Maryland and nearby West Virginia offices include Keyser, Morgantown, Elkins, Bridgeport and Buckhannon.
The agency writes personal insurance for home, auto, RV, umbrella, renters and flood coverage; commercial, captive and small business insurance; agriculture coverage; and specialty programs for air show events and fire and rescue services. It also offers employee benefits, individual health and life insurance, plus online claim filing, payments and a risk management center.
The agency joined with Avery Hall Insurance, which has served families and businesses in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia since 1925, and Gunn-Mowery of Central Pennsylvania, in business since 1985, and now operates as one agency with more than 400 employees.
