About
Brodak's Banquet Hall is an event venue at 18268 Garrett Highway in Oakland, just off Route 219 between Deep Creek Lake and town. It hosts weddings, reunions, fundraisers and other large gatherings, with room for both indoor and outdoor events. With room for about 400 guests, it suits celebrations with a big guest list.
The Space
The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce lists the hall with an occupancy of about 400 people and these features:
- Large decks wrapped around a pond
- Indoor and outdoor bars
- A dance floor
- A full restaurant kitchen for catered meals
- Open ground for outdoor setups as well as the indoor hall
That mix lets you move a reception between the hall and the decks, which is handy for summer weddings and family reunions where guests want to spend time outside.
Community Events
Besides private bookings, the hall is a regular host for community events that are open to the public, such as seasonal craft and vendor shows. Local event calendars and the hall's Facebook page are the places to watch for those.
Before You Go
The hall does not run a separate website, so booking questions go through the phone or its Facebook page. Ask about available dates, how catering works with the kitchen and what you can set up outdoors when you call.
Give the hall a ring to check your date and talk through your plans.
