Burger King – Oakland

Burger King is the flame-grilled burger chain's in-town Oakland location, at 841 E Oak St on the east side of town. It is a quick, familiar option when you are running errands in Oakland or want something everyone in the car already knows.

Expect the standard Burger King menu: the Whopper and other flame-grilled burgers, chicken sandwiches and fries. Burger King's site lets you order for pickup or delivery, so you can place an order ahead and skip the wait. Burger King started selling the Whopper in 1957, at the chain's first restaurant in Miami, and the flame-grilled beef patty is still the sandwich's signature.
