About
Cabin Fever Antiques & Collectibles is an antiques and collectibles shop at 17 E Liberty St in downtown Oakland, run by Margie and Jack. It's the kind of place to set aside time for, with glassware, primitives, vintage clothing, used books, ephemera and furniture spread through an old building, and the stock keeps changing as the owners sort through their warehouse for new finds.
What You'll Find
- Glassware, kitchen collectibles and vintage advertising pieces
- Primitives and architectural salvage
- Furniture, including larger pieces and a mid-century modern collection
- Vintage clothing and jewelry
- Used books and paper ephemera
- Even an ugly-sweater collection
Shopping From Afar
If you can't get to Oakland, Cabin Fever also sells through eBay and Etsy shops linked from its website. The shop notes that its inventory is being reviewed, so check with them about an item before you order.
Before You Go
The building is old and hard to keep warm, and the owners say that if the temperature drops below 20 degrees they probably won't come in, though they sometimes open unexpectedly. On a bitter winter day, give them a call before you make the trip.
