Castle at the Lake is a 5-bedroom lakefront home with five full and two half baths in the Waterfront Greens community near Swanton that sleeps 14, managed by Railey Vacations as part of its Signature Collection. Built with a castle theme, it has a curved staircase and an entry ceiling that rises to the top of its turret, and it suits families who want a private indoor pool and a boat slip in the same stay. Inside the House
The main level has the great room, kitchen, dining area, a half bath, a king suite with a separate tub, and a 28-by-15-foot private indoor pool. Upstairs, a loft opens to a balcony, and a game room holds pool tables, a putting green and two futons, plus a poker table elsewhere in the house. Three more suites are on this level, two with balcony access, along with a queen bedroom, a hall bath, a second half bath and the laundry. Beds total two kings, three queens and two full futons.
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
A level lawn runs down to the water, where the home's lake access and dock slip sit right on its lakefront; the slip takes one motorized boat, and Railey guarantees docks only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Closer to the house you have:
- An outdoor hot tub and a wood-burning fire pit
- A stone patio with dining space and an outdoor fireplace
- A gas grill
- Parking for five vehicles, with boat trailer parking allowed
Waterfront Greens adds a par-3 golf course, mini golf, tennis and pickleball courts, a basketball court, a catch-and-release pond, a pondside gazebo, a covered pavilion and a canoe and kayak storage station.
Good to Know
Pets aren't permitted. Rentals are for family groups only, weddings are considered by arrangement, and Railey recommends four-wheel drive, all-wheel drive or snow tires from November through March. Kayaks and firewood aren't provided.
