Cato Fashions

Cato Fashions is the Oakland location of Cato, a family-owned women's clothing chain with more than 800 stores in 30 states. It's in Oakland Plaza on Garrett Highway (US 219) and sells everyday and dressy clothing, shoes and accessories across a wide range of sizes.

What the Store Carries

Cato covers a whole outfit in one stop, which helps if you live locally or forgot something for a lake trip:

• Tops, jeans, pants, dresses, skirts, sweaters, jackets and vests, suiting, shorts and athleisure
• Intimates and sleepwear
• Junior misses (2–16) and plus sizes (16–28); petites in select stores and online
• Shoes, including boots, flats, heels, sneakers, sandals and wide widths
• Handbags, hats, sunglasses, scarves, belts and cold-weather accessories
• Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and jewelry sets

Ways to Shop and Pay

The Oakland store offers in-store layaway, and you can pay over time at the register through Afterpay, Sezzle or Zip. Cato also has a store credit card with a rewards program and sells gift cards. If something you want isn't on the racks, you can order it on catofashions.com and have it shipped to the store at no charge. Returns are taken within 30 days with a receipt and original tags, under Cato's return policy.

Finding It

The store is at 13180 Garrett Highway in Oakland Plaza, which also has a Shoe Show and sits next to the Walmart Supercenter.
