About
Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church is a small country congregation of The United Methodist Church at 8 Virts Road in Swanton, in the rural countryside of southern Garrett County. It is a neighbourhood church for families in and around Swanton who want a local place for Sunday worship.
A United Methodist Congregation
Chestnut Grove is listed in The United Methodist Church's official church finder, and it also appears in the West Virginia Conference's church directory. As a United Methodist church, you can expect a service built around hymns, prayer, Scripture readings and a sermon, in the Wesleyan tradition shared by Methodist churches across the region.
Before You Go
The church doesn't publish its own website or phone number, so the denomination's listing is the place to start for current details. If you're visiting the Swanton area and want a quiet country church, it's an easy one to look up before Sunday.
