China Wok

China Wok is a casual Chinese restaurant at 13227 Garrett Highway in Oakland, serving a buffet alongside a full menu of Chinese-American classics, combination platters and lunch specials. The Buffet

China Wok runs an adult buffet and a children's buffet for kids ages 3 to 9. If you'd rather eat back at the cabin, the Buffet-to-Go option lets you fill a container from the buffet and pay by weight, which is handy when everyone in the group wants something different.

Entrees are grouped by chicken, beef, seafood, roast pork and vegetables, with dishes like Kung Po chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Mongolian beef, Sha Cha beef, scallops with garlic sauce and Grandma's Bean Curd, all served with white rice. Moo Shu dishes come with plum sauce and pancakes. The Chef Specialties section includes Happy Family, Four Seasons, General Tso's chicken and sesame shrimp. Spicy items are marked in red on the menu, which helps if you're ordering for someone who likes it mild.

Combination Platters and Lunch Specials

The Special Combination Platters pair an entree, from sesame chicken and beef with broccoli to shrimp with lobster sauce and curry chicken with onion, with fried rice in the same container plus a roast pork egg roll on the side. Lunch specials are smaller portions of favorites like General Tso's chicken, pepper steak with onions and chicken lo mein, also served with fried rice.
