Custom Thredz

Custom Thredz is a custom apparel and printing shop at 25203 Garrett Highway in McHenry, close to Deep Creek Lake. Owners Ben Vitez and Kelly Burke-Vitez have run it since 1998, and it serves businesses, teams, organizations and anyone who wants their own design on a shirt, hat or bag. It is also the home of Deep Creek Vintage Wear, the shop's own line of Deep Creek apparel.

Services Offered

Custom Thredz started with embroidery and screen printing and has grown into a full design-and-print shop. Most of the work is done in-house at the McHenry storefront:

• Embroidery on almost any apparel item, whether you pick from the shop's stock or bring your own piece
• Screen printing for logos and designs, with an in-house designer who can help a new or existing business create a logo
• Digital (direct-to-garment) printing for detailed, photo-style images
• Vinyl graphics for vehicles, laptops and other surfaces
• Monogramming of names or initials on apparel, accessories, luggage and bags
• Promotional items, with thousands of logo-ready products ordered through the shop's Promoplace catalog

Deep Creek Vintage Wear

If you are looking for a Deep Creek keepsake rather than a custom order, the shop's Deep Creek Vintage Wear line is its original lake-themed apparel. It has its own online store on the Custom Thredz website, so you can browse from home or before your trip.
