About
Deep Creek Adventure Bureau produces group rides, races, activities and fundraisers that celebrate the Garrett County outdoors. Known as DCAB, it aims to get more people outside, whether they are biking, hiking, running, paddling or skiing around Deep Creek Lake.
Rides, Races and Trail Info
DCAB posts its upcoming group rides, races and events. Its page also includes a trail finder covering 196 trails and ski runs in 14 areas, including Herrington Manor State Park, Garrett State Forest, Deep Creek Lake State Park, New Germany State Park, Savage River State Forest and Wisp Resort, with filters by sport, difficulty, distance, fee and hunting.
Outdoors for Everyone
The bureau's focus is on competition, athlete trials, just-for-fun rides and camaraderie, with the view that outdoor recreation should be attainable for everyone in all four seasons, snow included. It is run alongside the Deep Creek Times.
