Deep Creek Fun Zone

Deep Creek Fun Zone is an indoor and outdoor family entertainment center at 72 Fort Drive, McHenry, MD 21541, at the northern end of Deep Creek Lake. With more than ten attractions plus a restaurant and full bar under one roof, it gives families, birthday groups and rainy-day visitors plenty to do in one stop.

Attractions

• Road Track and Slick Track go-karts, plus Kiddie Karts on the Rookie Raceway
• Miniature golf
• Bumper boats
• Laser tag arena
• The Fun Zone Arcade, where play on a shareable Adventure Card earns prize tickets
• Mini Ninja Factory, two guided outdoor obstacle courses with features such as Devil's Bridge, Floating Poles, Jungle Swings and an Inverted Cargo Crawl

The go-karts, mini golf, bumper boats and ninja course are outdoor and seasonal, while the arcade, laser tag and restaurant are open year-round. An All Day Adventure Pass covers unlimited play across the main attractions.

Ninja Course and Parties

The Mini Ninja Factory is for ages 5 and up, with a 48-inch minimum height and a 250-pound weight limit; wear athletic clothes and clean, closed-toe athletic shoes, and sign the waiver online ahead of time to save a step. Ninja birthday parties are built for about ten kids, with course time, timed runs to crown the fastest ninja and time in the party area, and they need to be booked at least a week ahead. For larger groups, contact the Fun Zone directly.

Part of Deep Creek Lake Adventures

The Fun Zone is run by Deep Creek Lake Adventures, which also operates Monkey Business Adventure Park on Deep Creek Drive and the sister boat-rental company Lake Life Boat Rentals. The upper-level restaurant offers takeout by phone, and there's free on-site parking.

Some outdoor attractions depend on weather and staffing, so call ahead to confirm what's running before you go.
