Deep Creek Lake Gelato & Produce

Deep Creek Lake Gelato & Produce is a self-serve gelato and produce stand on 7843 Sang Run Rd in McHenry, set up in a green shed by the Slopeside Market parking lot near Deep Creek Lake. It's stocked by two Oakland family businesses, so you can pick up farm produce and a cup of gelato in one quick stop.

Gelato and Italian Ice

The gelato and Italian ice come from Go Go Gelato, the Lantz family's homemade gelato business based on Gorman Road outside Oakland. Its flavor list runs from Belgian Chocolate, Black Raspberry and Salted Caramel to Key Lime Pie, Tiramisu and Pumpkin Spice, and a few fruit flavors, such as Raspberry, Strawberry, Pineapple and Tangerine, are non-dairy. Not every flavor is stocked at every location, so the selection in the freezer changes.

Produce From ALL Produce

The produce comes from ALL Produce & Greenhouse, the family's farm on Gorman Road (Route 560). Expect what's in season on the farm, such as tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupe and peaches in summer, along with homemade canned products.
