About
Deep Creek Retreat is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath lake home at 391 Hines Drive in Swanton that sleeps 12, rented directly by its owners. It sits on a private street on more than 1.6 acres above a quiet cove, with a wildlife area across the water, so it suits families who want room for the kids to roam and a calmer corner of Deep Creek Lake.
Inside the House
The home is furnished with the owners' own pieces and photographs. The kitchen is fully stocked, with most spices provided and a Keurig machine. Family extras include:
- A stocked game room with a pool table and foosball
- A 60-inch smart TV, cable and internet, a movie library and an Xbox (bring your own games)
- A Yamaha Clavinova digital piano
- Two washers and two dryers
Decks, Hot Tub and the Water
There are three decks. The upper deck has seating for 12 and a gas grill, the lower deck has a porch swing and an 8-person hot tub, and a 20-by-16-foot deck sits just above the home's boat slip. Several tiers of private steps lead down to the water, which the owners note may be hard going for anyone with heart, hip or knee trouble. The yard has a large fire pit, a tire swing, tetherball and a basketball net, and two adult and two children's mountain bikes are provided.
Good to Know
- No smoking inside and no pets.
- Renters must be 24 or older, and parties and events are not allowed; family gatherings are fine.
- There's parking for your cars and a boat trailer.
Check dates on the owners' booking calendar or call them with questions about the house and the boat slip.
