About
Deer Park Community Volunteer Fire Department is the all-volunteer fire company serving the town of Deer Park and the surrounding community. Its single station is at 5353 Maryland Highway, and its members answer fire and rescue calls in their own community.
A Volunteer Company
Like the other fire companies across Garrett County, Deer Park is staffed entirely by trained volunteers rather than paid firefighters, and it is organized as a nonprofit corporation. Its members are neighbours who give their time to train and respond, and the company relies on local support and fundraising to keep its station and equipment ready. The department remains active, serving as the lead company on structure fire calls in Deer Park.
For an emergency, always call 9-1-1. If you'd like to support the company or learn about volunteering, its website is the place to start.
