Diamond Appliance Repairs

Diamond Appliance Repairs is a small, locally owned appliance repair and installation company based on 153 Red Run Heights Rd in Oakland. It serves households across Garrett County and nearby communities in West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania, so it is a useful call for year-round residents and lake-house owners alike.

Repairs, Installs and Haul-Away

Technicians come to you to diagnose and fix the appliances most homes depend on, and they will also set up new ones and take old ones away:

• Refrigerator and freezer repair, including cooling problems, leaks, ice makers and temperature alarms
• Washer and dryer repair, from no-heat dryers and broken belts to lint and venting issues
• Oven, range, wall-oven and microwave repair
• Dishwasher repair and garbage disposal replacement
• Delivery and hook-up of new appliances, with the packing hauled off
• Removal and disposal of old or broken appliances

The company works on most major brands, and its site shows names such as Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, GE, Bosch, Amana and Kenmore. You can call or use the online form to request a morning or afternoon visit. For new appliances, the site points to HighPoint TV & Appliance for sales.

A Business With County Roots

Owner and operator Chris Sevigny grew up in rural Garrett County and spent years in local business management before starting Diamond Appliance Repairs in June 2019. He saw a real local need for appliance repair, and the business has grown to keep up with it. Its stated values are integrity, trust and dependability.

Where They Work

The service area covers Oakland, McHenry, Swanton, Friendsville, Grantsville, Mountain Lake Park, Deer Park, Accident, Bittinger, Kitzmiller and other Garrett County towns, plus Alpine Lake in West Virginia and towns such as Salisbury, Meyersdale and Berlin in Pennsylvania.

If a fridge stops cooling at the lake house, it is worth having this local number saved.
