Double Oak Farms is a cattle farm at 3118 Bittinger Road in Swanton that raises Angus beef and sells it directly to you by the cut. How the Cattle Are Raised
The farm's Angus cattle graze on grass and are finished on grain. Double Oak says its cattle are raised without added hormones, growth promotants or antibiotic residues, and they're processed at a local USDA-inspected facility. The beef is vacuum-packaged, which helps it keep longer in your freezer, and buying straight from the farm means you know exactly where your beef was raised.
Cuts and Seasonal Items
The farm lists a full range of cuts, so you can stock up for grilling season or a winter of stews:
- Steaks: T-bone, Delmonico, sirloin and cube steak
- Roasts: chuck, sirloin tip and rump roast
- Ground beef: ground burger, ground round and hamburger patties

When fall arrives, the farm stand carries sweet corn, pumpkins, gourds, mums, corn stalks, deer corn and fall decorations, which is handy if you're decorating a porch or a lake house for the season.
