Dream Catcher Cabins is a small glamping retreat in Swanton with four guest cabins around a shared main lodge. It's set up for couples and friends who like the feel of a cabin in the woods but still want a real bed, heat and air conditioning, and access to a kitchen while exploring the Deep Creek Lake area.
How the Cabins Work
Each cabin is a compact sleeping cabin with one king bed, a mini-fridge, a small table with chairs, WiFi, a TV, heat and A/C. The cabins don't have their own bathrooms; instead, guests use private bathrooms inside the main lodge. The lodge also holds a shared kitchen and a living and gathering area, so you can cook a full meal or spend an evening indoors when the mountain weather turns.
Outside, guests share the yard, picnic tables, a grill and a fire pit, and parking is on the property. The four cabins are listed and booked individually, so a small group can reserve more than one.

The retreat is in the Swanton area south of Deep Creek Lake. The Airbnb listing puts Deep Creek Lake State Park about 8.5 miles away and Wisp Resort about 11 miles away, so hiking, swimming, boating and skiing are all an easy drive. The exact address is shared with guests after booking.
Before You Go
Reservations are made through Vrbo or Airbnb. In winter, the hosts note that a four-wheel-drive vehicle or traction devices may be needed on the way in.
