Inside the House
The kitchen, dining room and living room share the main level, along with a wood-burning fireplace and the laundry. The main-level suite has a king bed, a sitting room with a twin bunk bed and its own shower bath, which works well for parents with young kids. Upstairs are three more bedrooms (a king and a twin in one, a queen in each of the others), a sitting area and a full bath.
- Kitchen with full-size fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, drip coffee maker and single-cup brewer
- Smart TVs with streaming (Roku subscription included), Xfinity TV, DVD player and game library
- Mesh Wi-Fi and a small book library
- Linens and towels provided
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
The home is lakefront, with no road between the house and the water, and the lake views are filtered through the trees. The private dock takes one motorized and one non-motorized boat; docks are guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Outside you also have a gas grill and a wood-burning fire pit (bring or buy firewood for both the pit and the fireplace), and there is parking for up to four vehicles.
Good to Know
Guests can use the Thousand Acres community's hiking and cross-country ski trails, and Railey lists Thousand Acres Lakeside Golf Club at just under a mile away and Deep Creek Lake State Park at about 3.7 miles. Pets are not permitted, and Railey rents to family groups. Railey recommends four-wheel or all-wheel drive or snow tires from November through March.
