Elizabeth Ware, Railey Realty

Elizabeth Ware is a sales agent with Railey Realty, working from the brokerage's main office at 2 Vacation Way in McHenry. A lifelong Garrett County resident, she helps buyers and sellers with homes and property around Deep Creek Lake and the wider county.

Garrett County Born and Raised

Elizabeth grew up in Garrett County and graduated from Northern Garrett High School before earning honors at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she played saxophone and served as drum major of the marching band. After college she worked with AmeriCorps for the Bureau of Land Management in Oregon, earned a master's degree and worked as an educator before turning to real estate back home.

Real estate runs in the family: her mother, Kellyann Green, is an associate broker at Railey Realty, and her father runs High Mountain Sports at Deep Creek Lake. That local network is handy if you are new to the area and want to know how life at the lake actually works through the seasons.

Life Outdoors at the Lake

Elizabeth is a skier, runner and wakeboarder, a former competitive ski racer and a ski race coach, and she performs with the Garrett County community band and choral society. If you are drawn to the lake for skiing, water sports or a more active mountain life, she knows the area from that side as well as from the listings.

Working With Railey Realty

As part of Railey Realty, the family-founded brokerage that has been selling property at Deep Creek Lake since 1974, Elizabeth can help with vacation and second homes, lakefront property, condos and townhomes, land and investment property across Garrett County.
