Furry Friends Boutique & Spa

Furry Friends Boutique & Spa is a locally owned dog grooming business in Oakland, run by owner Alyssa Sweitzer, now in an expanded space at the Genus Center on 13227 Garrett Highway. It is for dog owners who want individualized grooming with close attention to detail.

Grooming With a Personal Touch

Furry Friends focuses on quality, attention to detail and personalized care, and has built its reputation on treating each dog as if it were its own. That one-dog-at-a-time approach is a good fit if your dog needs a little extra patience on the grooming table.

A Growing Local Business

In June 2026, Garrett County Business Development hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the shop's move into its new, larger location at the Genus Center. Alyssa said she was excited to welcome clients "and their fur babies" into the expanded space.

Appointments are booked through the Furry Friends Facebook page, so send a message there or give the shop a call to set up your dog's next groom.
