Garrett College CEWD Business Solutions is the employer-facing side of Garrett College's Continuing Education & Workforce Development division. It works out of the Garrett Information Enterprise Center (GIEC) on the college's McHenry campus off Mosser Road, and helps local businesses, nonprofits and agencies train their people and run more smoothly.

Courses You Can Sign Up For
Individuals can enroll in public courses too, such as ServSafe Food Handler and Food Manager certification, bookkeeping with QuickBooks and Excel, AI courses, custodial training, entrepreneurship, and programs for parents and family workers. Some classes meet in the GIEC; others are online. The Cyber Workforce Accelerator is described by the college as a fully funded online training program that ends in a certification exam.
Office and Meeting Space
The GIEC also has rental space with short- and long-term lease options, complimentary Wi-Fi, training resources and catering, which can be useful for a small business, a visiting team or an off-site meeting.
