Go Go Gelato

Go Go Gelato is a family-run maker of homemade Italian-style gelato and Italian ice, based at the Rt. 560 Farm Market at 8602 Gorman Road in Oakland. Its self-serve gelato freezers stand at four farm-market locations in Garrett County, and the gelato also turns up at farmers markets in Oakland, Cumberland and Frostburg.

A Family Farm Business

According to the company, Aaron and Gabbie Lantz started Go Go Gelato in 2022 to supplement their incomes and help pay the mortgage on their farm. When Aaron's family moved to Minnesota for work, Arlene and Levi took over the business and kept the stands going.

Flavors and Group Orders

The flavor list runs from Belgian Chocolate, Butter Pecan and Salted Caramel to Key Lime Pie, Tiramisu, Pumpkin Spice and Watermelon, with non-dairy choices such as Raspberry, Strawberry, Pineapple and Tangerine. Freezer space is limited, so not every flavor is stocked at every stand. The family also takes larger cup orders for groups and events.
