Honi-Honi Bar

Honi-Honi Bar is a lakefront tiki bar on Deep Creek Lake at 19745 Garrett Hwy, a local landmark since 1969. It's an outdoor spot built around frozen drinks, cocktails, cold beer and live music on the water, with yard games and a play area that make it welcoming for families as well as grown-up groups.

The draw here is the setting: a big outdoor deck and lawn right at the lake's edge, frozen drinks such as piña coladas, cocktails and beer, and live entertainment. The Garrett County Visitors Guide points to Honi-Honi as a go-to for live entertainment at the lake. Yard games and a play set out on the grass give kids something to do while the adults listen to the band.

Finding It by Car or Boat

Honi-Honi sits on the water between UNO Pizzeria & Grill and Arrowhead Market, across Garrett Highway from Garrett 8 Cinemas, so it's easy to spot on the main road through McHenry and the lake. If you're out on the lake, boaters can dock next door and walk up. Honi-Honi is mainly a bar, and for a bigger meal UNO is right next door.
