Iron Horse Associates is a family-owned site development company on 8496 Gorman Road in Oakland. From Logging to Site Development

The business started as Iron Horse Logging, focused on timber harvesting, and grew into excavating, site development and recycling before taking its current name. Over the past decade it has added land clearing, site preparation and right-of-way clearing, along with site work for wind and solar projects and land restoration such as stabilization, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control. In April 2026 the Garrett County Commissioners marked the company's 25 years of service with a proclamation. Iron Horse is a certified Women-Owned Small Business, with Denise Thomas as owner.
