Jessie Railey, Railey Realty

Jessie Railey is an associate broker with Railey Realty, working from the family brokerage's main office at 2 Vacation Way in McHenry. She grew up on Deep Creek Lake and helps buyers and sellers with homes around the lake, near Wisp Resort and throughout Garrett County, including properties bought as vacation rental investments.

Three Generations at Deep Creek

Jessie's family history is tied to the lake itself. Her great-grandfather, C.M. Railey, led a logging crew that cleared land for Deep Creek Lake in the early 1920s, before the lake was completed in 1925. Her grandparents, Sis and Jim Railey, founded Railey Realty in 1974, and Jessie is the third generation to carry the name in the business. She grew up on the water and learned to ski here.

Help Beyond the Closing

Before focusing on sales, Jessie owned and ran Railey Design for 15 years, choosing furnishings, staging homes and getting properties ready for their first guests. That background is useful if you are buying a place you plan to rent out, or selling one and want it to show well: she knows what it takes to turn a house into a working vacation home.

She holds the GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) designation, and outside work she volunteers year-round with local youth sports.
