Joyce's Deep Creek Rentals

Joyce's Deep Creek Rentals is a family-run rental business owned by John and Kathy Joyce, offering White Oak Lodge and Rock Haul, two six-bedroom homes near Deep Creek Lake that each sleep up to 12. Both homes are set up for families and larger groups, and you book directly with the owners.

White Oak Lodge

White Oak Lodge is a log home with 6 bedrooms and 3 baths on a secluded wooded lot near Deep Creek Lake State Park. It is not directly on the lake; the dock is a short walk down the road and steps.

• Lower level: two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a recreation room with a wood stove, opening onto a covered porch with the hot tub
• Main level: living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and a covered porch
• Upper level: four bedrooms and a bathroom
• Outside: a two-boat dock with deep-water swimming off the end, plus a fire pit and gas and charcoal grills

Rock Haul

Rock Haul spreads 6 bedrooms and 3 baths across three levels on a wooded lot, with a large covered porch that looks out toward the lake. The lower level has a recreation room, and you get one boat slip at a community dock with a swim ladder. There is also a fire pit and gas and charcoal grills.

Good to Know

Both homes welcome pets for a fee, and the booking form allows up to three. Air conditioning is in the upstairs bedrooms only. The owners note that Wisp Resort is about 10 minutes from their rentals, with Swallow Falls, New Germany and Savage River State Forest also in reach.
