About
K9 Solutions Center is a dog training and pet boarding business at 5656 New Germany Road in Grantsville. It is run by Scott and Tara Holliday, certified balanced trainers who have been working with dogs since the mid-1990s.
Training
Basic programs include puppy obedience for dogs from 12 weeks to 5 months, basic obedience for dogs 6 months and older, and a two-week board-and-train program. Lessons cover sit, stay, recall, heel and leash walking.
Specialized programs cover behavior modification focused on aggression, e-collar training with a board-and-train option, man tracking for search-and-rescue and sport, and blood tracking for hunting and search. Programs are tailored to each dog's needs, age and temperament, and the trainers teach owners how to reinforce the training at home, with follow-up support.
Boarding
Boarding dogs stay in climate-controlled rooms with premium bedding, with staff monitoring around the clock. Stays include daily playtime, walks and socialization, and the staff can handle special diets and medication. Boarding is scheduled by phone.
