Lakefront Retreat is a 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath lakefront home at 336 Moonrise Drive, Swanton in the Waterfront Greens community on the south end of Deep Creek Lake. It sleeps 14 and is managed by Railey Vacations, part of its Signature Collection, and works well for extended families who want quiet-cove water time with plenty of community activities nearby.
Inside the House
The main level holds the kitchen, dining area and a great room with a fireplace and tall windows, along with a powder room, laundry and a king suite with a balcony and a bath with a separate tub. Downstairs, a den with a wet bar and a game area with foosball and a sectional give the group a second place to spread out. The lower level also has four bedrooms (a queen, a queen suite with a daybed, a bunk room and a king), a full bath and a Jack-and-Jill bath. There are two gas fireplaces, central air, five smart TVs and Wi-Fi, and the kitchen has two ovens and a dishwasher.
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
The deck is set up for sunset views and has a hot tub, and there's an outdoor wood fire pit and gas grill (bring your own firewood). The home sits on a quiet cove that Railey describes as suited to kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming, and it comes with one dock slip that allows a motorized boat. Railey notes that docks are guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Good to Know
- Guests get free access to the Community Aquatic and Recreation Complex (CARC) up to the home's occupancy.
- Waterfront Greens community amenities include mini golf, par-3 golf, tennis, pickleball, a basketball court, a canoe and kayak station, a catch-and-release pond, a pondside gazebo and a covered pavilion.
- Railey lists the Deep Creek Lake Discovery Center about 1.5 miles away and Deep Creek Lake State Park about 1.9 miles away.
- Pets are not permitted, and 4WD, AWD or snow tires are recommended from November through March.
