About
Lakeside Interiors is a full-service interior design firm based at 1001 Sutters Ln on the Mountain Lake Park side of Oakland, focused on homes around Deep Creek Lake. It is a good fit for owners of vacation and rental homes who want one designer to take a project from first ideas to a finished room.
Design for Lake and Mountain Homes
The firm says it specializes in resort design at Deep Creek Lake, and it knows that managing a vacation-home project from a distance can be hard. Lakeside Interiors handles the design process from beginning to end, tailoring each plan to the client's needs and style, whether the project is a primary home, a rental property or a weekend getaway. Its published projects include a rustic log cabin ski lodge and a lake vacation home in McHenry, and living areas, bedrooms and a sunroom in Oakland.
Services the firm lists include:
- Interior design and space planning
- Kitchen and bathroom design
- Living room and bedroom design, including kids' rooms
- Color consulting
- Furniture selection
A Studio Full of Samples
The design studio holds more than 1,500 materials, along with rug samples, a window treatment display and wood finishes, so you can see and compare options in person. The firm lists a bachelor's degree in interior design and professional membership in the American Society of Interior Designers, and its work has been featured in The Washington Post. Besides full projects, it also offers design consultations on an hourly basis.
