Lovelight Pediatrics is a pediatric practice at 607 Oakland Ave in Oakland, caring for children from newborns through adolescence. Owned by board-certified pediatrician Dr. Stephanie Sisler, it describes itself as the only office of a board-certified pediatrician in Garrett County.

Care From Newborns to Teens

The practice covers newborn and adolescent well care, acute (sick) visits and management of chronic conditions, and it also offers ear piercing and mental health care. Dr. Sisler has a particular interest in newborns, adolescents, breastfeeding, foster children and children with a trauma history. Pediatric nurse practitioner Michaelyn Schrock is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for depression, anxiety and ADHD, which means families can often start that support with a provider their child already knows.

Local Roots

Dr. Sisler was born at Garrett Memorial Hospital and grew up in nearby Terra Alta, West Virginia, so she knows the communities on both sides of the state line that the practice serves.
