About
Melissa Long is a REALTOR with Railey Realty who helps buyers and sellers with homes and land around Deep Creek Lake and throughout Garrett County. She works from Railey's sales office at 2 Vacation Way in McHenry and joined the brokerage's sales team in January 2024.
Background in Rentals and Renovation
Before focusing on sales, Melissa owned and oversaw rental properties, worked as a leasing agent for corporate clients, and renovated single-family investment homes. That mix is practical if you are buying with an eye on rental income or wondering what a dated house could become, because she has handled those questions as an owner herself.
She lives in Garrett County year-round, so she knows the area as a place to live as well as a vacation spot. She is an active member of the Garrett County Board of REALTORS.
Who She Works With
Melissa describes her approach as sharing real estate with clients rather than simply selling it. She works with families relocating to Garrett County and with people looking for a vacation home at the lake, and her site lets you search lakefront property, townhomes and condos, lots and land, and larger acreage across the county.
If you are thinking about a move to the mountains or a place at the lake, her site is an easy way to start browsing and get in touch.
