Midway Discount Beverages

Midway Discount Beverages is a retail beverage store at 464 Weber Rd just outside Oakland. It sells both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so one stop can cover the beer and wine for adults and the sodas and mixers for everyone else.

What They Carry

The store stocks:

• Beer, including keg beer
• Wine and liquor, available by the case
• A range of non-alcoholic beverages

Buying wine or liquor by the case is handy when you're supplying a family reunion, a holiday dinner or a week at a lake rental, and having kegs on hand saves a separate trip for a party.

Lottery and Local Service

Midway is also a Maryland Lottery agent, so you can pick up tickets at the counter while you're there. The store came back after a closure: Garrett County licensing minutes note it was shut by fire damage in the summer of 2023 and reopened in September 2023.

Before You Go

If you need a keg or a large case order for an event, call ahead so they can set it aside.

Stop by on Weber Road and fill the cooler before your next get-together.
