A Family History at Deep Creek

Mike's ties to the lake go back three generations. His grandparents began vacationing at Deep Creek in the early 1950s, bought a lakefront cottage on State Park Road near the Glendale Bridge, and later moved here full time. Mike spent his childhood summers on the water, moved to the lake full time in the 1990s and bought his first lakefront home in 1997. He still lives on the lake with his two sons, and the family water-skis, paddleboards, skis at Wisp and bikes year-round.

He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Ohio University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College, became a co-owner of Railey Realty in 2012, and is a past president of the Garrett County Board of Realtors.
