New Earth Landscapes

New Earth Landscapes is a landscaping company at 3591 Garrett Highway in Oakland, owned by John Martin. It focuses on water features, natural stone hardscaping and native plantings for properties around Oakland and Deep Creek Lake.

Water Features

New Earth designs and installs decorative fountains and pondless waterfalls of varying sizes. A pondless waterfall gives you the sight and sound of moving water without an open pond to maintain, which makes it a practical centerpiece for a garden or sitting area.

Design and Landscaping

• Landscape design: proportional, to-scale landscape drawings presented as colorful 2D displays, available as digital copies or prints
• Gardens: natural gardens, including native plantings suited to the local environment
• Natural hardscapes: natural stone hardscaping features
• Lawn installation and renovation, listed as a project option on its request form

The company describes its approach as sustainable and eco-friendly, building with native plants and natural stone. A scaled drawing lets you see how a project fits your property before any work starts.

Getting Started

The contact form asks what you would like to see at your property (planting, water features, natural hardscaping, lawn installation or renovation), your preferred start date, and lets you upload photos. The company holds a Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) license.

To start planning a water feature or new landscape, send photos through the website or call.
