About
New Life Christian Church is a small independent, non-denominational congregation at 512 Nest Lick Acres Road in Oakland. It offers Sunday school and Sunday worship in a traditional style, and it suits families and neighbours looking for a close-knit country church in Garrett County.
What to Expect
The church's directory profile describes a traditional worship service with communion, Sunday school beforehand and casual dress as the norm, so there's no need to dress up. Services are in English, and the church has one location rather than several campuses. The congregation also lists a men's and women's ministry for adults who want fellowship and Bible study beyond Sunday morning.
Getting There
The church has its own private parking lot, and the building is listed as wheelchair accessible, which is useful to know if you're bringing older relatives or anyone who uses a mobility aid. Pastors Roger and Cindy Kitzmiller are named as the church's leaders in its directory listing.
Because the church doesn't keep a website, a quick call is the easiest way to confirm details before your first visit.
