NuWay Restoration & Cleaning

NuWay Restoration & Cleaning is a restoration and cleaning company based at 20 S 3rd St in downtown Oakland. It handles water, fire, smoke and mold damage for homes and businesses across Garrett County, along with everyday cleaning work such as carpets, ducts and vacation rental turnovers.

Restoration After Water, Fire and Mold

When a pipe bursts, a storm gets in or a fire leaves soot behind, NuWay offers emergency service around the clock and works through the job from first assessment and mitigation to full restoration. Its published services include:

• Water damage mitigation and sewage clean-up
• Fire, smoke and weather damage restoration
• Mold remediation and odor removal
• Tarping and board-up
• Hoarding, trauma and biohazard clean-up
• Specialty large-loss restoration and pre-loss planning

The company works with insurance companies on claims and says it has insurance specialists on staff, which helps if you are dealing with an adjuster for the first time. It describes itself as a Triple Master IICRC Certified Firm.

Cleaning, Flooring and Rental Care

Not every call is an emergency. NuWay also cleans carpets and upholstery, cleans oriental rugs in its shop, cleans HVAC ducts and dryer vents, and offers residential and commercial housekeeping, post-construction cleaning, and vacation rental cleaning and property maintenance. It also lists remodeling, flooring sales and installation among its services, which is handy when damaged floors need replacing after a cleanup.

A Locally Owned Team

NuWay is locally owned and operated and has served Garrett County and nearby parts of Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia for more than 20 years, with a second location in Thomas, West Virginia. Its service area includes McHenry, Deep Creek Lake, Swanton, Accident, Grantsville and Friendsville. Bill German is the General Manager.

If water or smoke has caught you off guard at home or at a lake rental, NuWay is a local call away.
