Owl Cabin is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin in the Yellowstone Village community in the southeast part of Deep Creek Lake that sleeps 8, managed by Railey Vacations. It's at 60 Whitetail Court, Oakland, in a wooded setting, and its step-free main floor makes it a good fit for couples, small families or guests who need easier access.
Inside the Cabin
The main level holds the kitchen, living and dining areas, a sunroom, laundry, and a queen bedroom next to a full bath with a shower. Upstairs, a loft has a futon and a second suite has a queen bed with its own full bath; Railey also notes two twin roll-away beds stored in the closet for extra guests. A wood-burning fireplace warms the living area, and an indoor hot tub means you can soak in any weather. For downtime there's air hockey, foosball, board games and puzzles, plus smart TVs with streaming devices, SlingTV and WiFi.
Accessibility and Outdoor Spaces
Railey lists the cabin as wheelchair accessible: there are no steps to the main floor, and the bath has grab handles, a shower bench and a roll-under sink. Outside you'll find a patio, a gas grill, a wood fire pit and parking for three vehicles. The home has no dock or designated lake access, and boat trailer parking isn't permitted.
Good to Know
Firewood is provided from September 15 to April 15 (two bundles per night). Pets aren't permitted, and 4WD/AWD or snow tires are recommended from November through March. Dutch's at Silver Tree is about a quarter-mile away and Deep Creek Lake State Park about 1.8 miles, by Railey's distance list.
