Pathfinder Farm Distillery is a farm distillery in Keedysville, Washington County, Maryland, with a Tasting Room and Cocktail Bar in a historic log home at 14 S Main St in Boonsboro. It makes moonshines and other spirits on the farm using its own farm-grown and local ingredients and Appalachian mountain spring water.
The Spirits
The distillery's lineup includes moonshines, bourbons and whiskeys. Its clear, unaged Rye Moonshine has spent almost three years in the barrel and is now released as a rye whiskey.
The Tasting Room in Boonsboro
At the Tasting Room you can sample spirits in a flight or order a specialty cocktail built around one of them. The menu covers seasonal drinks, signature cocktails, local beer and wine, and mocktails, and the bar also pours other local spirits. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome, and parking is available out back. Private rooms, or the whole Tasting Room, can be booked for birthday parties, cocktail hours and networking events.
Visiting the Farm
The farm itself is on Mount Carmel Church Road in Keedysville, and tours there are by appointment.
