Peaceful Easy Feelin' is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath lakefront chalet in the North Glade community at 670 Clark Lohr Road, Swanton, that sleeps 8, managed by Railey Vacations. With a king bed in three of the four bedrooms and no bunk beds, it suits two or three couples or a family who want quiet water and a wooded setting on Deep Creek Lake.
Inside the House
The house has a mountain-chalet feel with rustic decor and an open floor plan spread over three levels:
- Main level: a king suite with its own full bath, plus the kitchen, living room, dining area and a powder room
- Upper level: a loft suite with a king bed and attached full bath
- Lower level: a king bedroom, a bedroom with two twin beds, a full bath, a den and game area with the pool table, and laundry
A gas fireplace warms the living space, and you'll find smart TVs, mesh Wi-Fi, a book library, board games and puzzles. The kitchen has a dishwasher, full-size fridge, drip and single-cup coffee makers, and linens and towels are provided.
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
The home comes with a private dock slip that takes two motorized and three non-motorized boats; Railey guarantees dock use from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Lake views are filtered through the trees. Outside there's a covered entertaining space, an outdoor dining table, a gas grill, a hot tub, a horseshoe pit and a wood-burning fire pit (bring or buy firewood). Parking holds up to three vehicles, and a boat trailer counts as one space.
Good to Know
Pets aren't permitted, the home is non-smoking, and Railey rents to family groups only. Railey recommends 4WD, AWD or snow tires from November through March, and driveway details are shared in the guest portal after booking.
