Perry's Solid Waste Disposal

Perry's Solid Waste Disposal is a trash removal and recycling hauler based at 105 Arnold Lane in Mountain Lake Park, serving residential, commercial and industrial customers in Garrett County, MD. The company is owned and operated alongside Arnold Bros. Equipment Corp., which shares the same Arnold Lane yard and handles the portable toilet and septic pumping side of the business.

Residential Trash Service

Homeowners can choose between two weekly options:

• A roll-out container with an attached lid, supplied by Perry's
• Bagged trash set along the road, or in your own container

Either service covers the equivalent of four 30-gallon trash bags per week. Because bears, raccoons and other animals get into trash in the area, Perry's also offers metal and wooden toter enclosures, in single or double sizes, that hold its wheeled Rubbermaid toters. A newer metal bear-resistant enclosure is available for homes where bears are a problem. Yard waste disposal and roll-off dumpsters for cleanouts and home projects are also available.

Business and Project Service

For businesses, Perry's offers front-load and rear-load dumpsters, roll-off dumpsters for projects of any size, storage units for job sites or office storage, compactors for high-volume waste in tight spaces, and bulk waste pickup for items too large for a regular container. Some items need special handling and are not taken in regular containers; the company publishes a list of items not accepted. It also places recycling containers for businesses, resorts, homeowner associations and events such as fairs and fire hall functions, and it uses a recycling facility in Garrett County.
