About
Precision Rafting Expeditions is a whitewater rafting and river kayaking outfitter headquartered on Morris Avenue in Friendsville. It runs guided raft trips on the Upper Youghiogheny (pronounced "Yock," like rock), along with the Savage, Potomac, Cheat and Big Sandy rivers in Maryland and West Virginia. The company has run local rivers for more than 38 years and puts extra safety measures on every trip, with guides stopping to set ropes and extra safety boaters on the water.

Kayak School

The Team
Precision was founded by Roger Zbel, who still tries to go on every trip. Nancy Zbel is general manager and runs daily operations, and Margaret Frost manages bookings.
